Blurified

Those non bike enthusiasts probably wouldn't understand nor give two shits about the first half, so scroll on down to the next half, those of you..

Brought WQ to view his first baby Fireblade. Sweet bike. L model...something I would have been riding if I hadn't stumbled upon my SV400s. The bike in question had no major faults, but the surprising thing is it came without a choke switch, which is a prerequisite in almost every bike. The owner said the bike doesn't come with one...which raised an eyebrow; if he's bullshitting me about the choke, what else could he be bullshitting about? Still, the price is rather sweet, and outwardly, this bike looks better than the other N model we viewed later on, even though the latter came with a Yoshimura RS-2, which appealed to WQ.

I think the big man up there saw fit to reward me for some reason, and knowing how I go for rare bikes, gave me a good eyeful of the super rare Yamaha FZR 400.

The uber big 'Mantis-style' headlights were a big disappointment; I'd expected something more stylish to the tune of the baby FZR 125 that's always parked at my carpark.

See? The smaller version even has a pole light. And I thought the bigger 'uns would look sweeter... :(

The taillight looked like the ancient RGV Pepsi's, a square obscenity that juts out further from the tail fairing than a Lao K's taillight.... >_< href="http://www.hello.com/" target="ext">Posted by Hello

Compared to the ugly square nipple it's elder brother sports, the FZR 125 has rather cool looking taillights that look almost like the ones on a RVF, but slicker, since the tail fairing isn't squared off like most 400cc sport bikes.

Here's a peek at the side fairings of both bikes...I didn't take the other angles as the owner tied his helmet covered with an NTUC plastic bag to the front rim...uglifying the bike.

What a treat, abeit the disappointment after discovering the bike's true appearance wasn't as slick as it's baby brother.

*****************************************************

I made two wasted trips today. Initially, Baby contacted me on MSN, telling me his bike couldn't start. He'd only been riding the bike just once for the past 4 days and suspected the fuse was blown. I thought "cannot be...if the bike is parked there, fuse won't blow". Nevertheless, I made my way down and arrived at his carpark before him. I managed to locate his bike, and for the want of something better to do, I flipped his kick start lever out and kicked. The bike gave me a small surprise when it lurched forward; it wasn't in neutral gear.

..........

WTF...of course la....not in neutral how to start the bloody bike?!?!?

I gave Baby the benefit of the doubt; maybe he likes to park like my dad, in 1st gear? And so when he finally arrived, I took the keys from him, flicked the gear to neutral, and kicked the kick start lever...

Vrroroommmm...prak....prak....prak....prak...

Wa lao!!! Ask me go all the way down to fix your bike just to kick your gear to neutral?!?!? -_-'

Super blur...like this also can say bike spoillll~..haha...there goes my language along with my exasperation.

And then, there was our Raccoon, who told Ostrich that he'd left his Kbox membership card at the counter...making me go all the way back to Jurong Entertainment Center to retrieve it at 2am in the morning, only to have the counter girl tell me they no longer kept the cards since 2 weeks ago. I called the Raccoon to check and it turned out the bloody cock had it in his wallet all this while. Wa piangZ....
