Tank Slap
Twelve noon. Its raining heavily. Oh alright, that's an understatement. I can't see the block next to mine. Reflects my inner feelings in a way. Stormy, and I dunno where I'm going. Inner turmoil.
Anyway I've yet to tell you about my 1st ever hospital experience ever since my birth. All started out with another morning as stormy as this one. I was riding on the PIE on the way to Expo. Since it was raining so heavily I was keeping mostly to the extreme third lane. Suddenly I noticed this blue Berlington which was initially quite a distance ahead of me suddenly close up. Must have been braking with faulty brake lights. I applied my brakes to maintain following distance. Front wheel slips. My poor Natashya gets a tank slap and slides down the expressway on her left side, destroying my steering damper, part of my footrest, and warping my gear shifter. I get flung onto the road shoulder where I boogey on my arse for a few short moments before I decide to try to roll and end up sliding on my back instead.
Once I stopped sliding I got up, checked for injuries, found only an abrasion on my left knee and ran to pick up my bike. This lorry load of blanga just goes around my bike. I check for damages briefly, then continue my journey. Everything seems alright with me except my bumped left hip and my ba kua on my knee. But that night I woke up with a splitting headache...vomitting etc. Believe me...a concussion ain't a nice experience to have. My dad brought me to the hospital. By then, all I was puking up was this bitter yellow bile. The taxi that brought us along got a mouthful of that gunk splattered on his floor mat.
The nurses sped me thru the initial registration, but I was made to lie in the inner waiting area for ages, where I purged myself of bile another 2 times. Was sent up to Ward 19. One of my ex-trainees asked if my parents were around and I said yes. But he still went ahead to call my mum. So she knows everything by now. Couldn't eat anything the whole time, and I got wired up to a drip for the 1st time. Damn *ouch*...
When they finally decided I was okay enough to be discharged, I finished the paltry fare they'd offered for their breakfast in one minute, and then wolfed down the stuff my mum bought me. That kind of feeling....when you're hungry and you can actually feel the food hitting your stomach...is almost orgasmic man.
The 1st time i did this
Gee...everyone says I'm just too forgiving. That she would climb all over me. That I should just give it up, put a stop to all that. They keep asking why I still wanna hang on. Why? I just dunno.
Luck's what others call talent when they have none.

Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.
I am a subtle flavour, quiet and polite, gentle, almost ambient. My presence in crowds will often go unnoticed. Best not to spill me on your clothes though, I can leave a nasty stain. What Flavour Are You? |

I taste like Bread.
I am a staple in almost everyone's diet. Friends like me are a complement to any other friends I get on with almost everyone, remaining mostly in the background, but providing substance when it would otherwise be lacking. What Flavour Are You? |
