Ambiguous Ambivalence
It's been a torrid start to the new year. Many promising events occuring, ushering in a 2006 that seemed to point towards a rosier annum following the debacle that was 2005. Broken relationships patching up. Friends, picking up the pieces to start all over again. Dreams that seemed just so ready to come true.
But the past few days of continuous rainfall only served to mirror the disquiet that stirred within the hearts of many I know. Things that bespoke of great promises falling away into despondent loss of hope. Although not as bad as last year, its been a fortnight or so of wavering fortunes, things making a 180 degree spin in the blink of an eye to a point where I am no longer sure of anything. Everything is so ambiguous. Perhaps there is a purpose to this, perhaps I can even call this ambivalence. See? I can't even be sure of this.
Some of my friends commented that I haven't been updating my blog. I have. It's just that, the posts that I have blogged out so far are issues that are extremely close to my heart, and I've learnt that such issues are too sensitive to publish for the world to see. These posts will probably stay as drafts forever...
Riding hard, fast, safely AND taking a few corners.
