Chiu Cheng

Super chiu cheng arh~!!
I usually set my alarm clock in 24 hrs, but when I loaned my clock to my dad,
he'd switched it to 12 hrs, and I didn't know. And so last night when I set my
alarm, I blindly set it to 8 o'clock and went to sleep. Woke up at 11am wondering
why it didn't ring. Check....set time for alarm is 8pm! WTF...no shit and I'm 2 hours
late for my meeting...

Meeting lasted till 4 plus, left school and went to pick her up. Annoyingly, the rain
started peltering on me AFTER I left my carpark. If it had rained a little earlier I
would have grabbed my raincoat. Irritating...I buy a $300 suit and don't use it.
Sent her to SIM to pay the bills, then sent her to Yew Tee...in the rain again~!

ARGH I HATE RAIN I HATE RAIN~!!
I'm still using my lan jiao tires~!!! FUCK OFF RAIN~!!!

Torque and Ponies

My black SV400S.

399cc liquid cooled, 90° v-twin 4 stroke engine.
Produces 53 ponies (horse power for laymen) at 10500 rpmand 41nm of torque at
8k rpm.
And with this power, I managed to clear my meter at 190km/h. The feeling of the
landscape whizzing past you at this speed...is almost exhilirating. It'd probably feel
better at 260km/h when I'm riding my R6 though...the Shoei X-9 didn't even twitch
in spite of the wind, as compared to my OGK Aeroblade. Even when I turned my head
it didn't catch the wind. In comparison, the Aeroblade seems to want to change its name
to Aeroplane the way it tries to take wing into the wind...I can almost swear by Shoei
goods now...

Went to school in the morning to change my place. Turns out there ARE new contract
teachers coming in. They put one Sumiko Tan beside me....at first I thought she was
the reporter...then Shere found her friendster...turns out is this sporty girl who has
a commando boyfriend. Gee...wonder if moving was a good idea...near the door can
escape unnoticed...but then will be disturbed by the traffic.

Went to Singapore Poly to meet WeiZ and Alex...but turned out they were at the
Bird Park...so went down to find them and went into Johor via 2nd link, where
WeiZ brought us on a merry go round. I was way into my reserve and kept praying
that the fuel won't run out on me. Surprisingly, the bike ran into 350km with more
than a litre to spare...I only pumped 14+ litres and the max limit is 16 litres.

After that, tried out my top speed, and tried to do a burnout. Went to Holiday Plaza
where I spent some dosh on stickers for my helmet, then went to look for Ah Koon
at his new place, but he hadn't really shifted yet. Went to work out with MZ, had
kopi with him and Marcel, then went home. Tired...

Empty

Song of the day: Empty by Takako Uehara

The house feels so empty after they left. One moment, full of commotion, and
in an instant, quiet. Empty. And empty. And empty. Everytime my cousins
come over and eventually leave, I'm struck by this feeling. Desolate? Too strong
a term...Forlorn? HmmM~....for once I'm at a loss to describe this feeling.

Spent most of the afternoon nursing this feeling, stoning, and refreshing the
forum pages to find something worth my while reading. Decided to go to pay
Mr Lim Ah Boy a visit and jio-ed Alexander to accompany me. Met StaroceanX
there as well.

Checked out the Arai and Shoei helmet prices. In comparison, the Arai Astro J
is retailing for $540, and the Astro TR for $580...and the Shoei X-9 for $520
and the X-11 for $640. I already have a X-9...although I highly suspect someone's
buanged in it before. So it would make more sense to take an Arai, if I don't get
a cheapo open face that is, but the customer service offered by Chong Aik far
exceeds Chiap Lee's and I'd be more inclined to get my helmet from that place.

My Aeroblade can't be used on my SV, coz I start headbanging once I hit 100km/h.
Dad's offered to take it rather than let me sell it to Alexander...haha...and so having
had all my GPR open faced helmets stolen or wrecked, I don't know if I should get
another full face or an open face helmet...gee~

Another dilemma...

Adieu To Natashya

Today marks the end of my 2 year
chapter with Natashya, my Kawasaki KRR150ZX Super Sport Kips.
A little more than a year ago, me, about half a month away from my
1st TP test, went with Jeffrey on his Fireblade to view the bike at
Hougang Mall. On the way, he showed me the principles behind
countersteering and brought me to 120km/h in gear 2...a speed that
to me, at that time, seemed horrendously fast...the helmet he'd loaned
me seemed like it was going to fly away.

The bike was originally emerald green, with a tinted bubble and the
word 'ling' emblazoned on it. Looked super beng, with bright red rims
and grips that kept slipping. Jeffrey tried it out, pronounced it ok, and
adviced me to use my ability to pay full cash to push the price down from
2.9k to 2.5k. They took 3 hours to think about it before agreeing. There
upon, after the transfer was done, I went down with Chong to Bugis Junction,
paid the previous owner (Bao Liang) the balance, took the keys, and had my
virgin ride back to camp. Had some trouble with the U-turn ahead of Bugis
Junction...but I managed to make it to the BP, pumped my 1st full tank,
and made it to camp. Still can remember the number of times I rode my
bike around camp before I passed...

Ah...all those memories...time flies past in such a way that I can hardly believe
I've had my bike for 2 years plus already. In total I've had 5 crashes on it.
The first was in PA. Was intending to make a left bend when I noticed the
duty officer crossing that road. In a decision borne of inexperience, instead
of going ahead straight, I decided to turn right. Saw the barrier coming and
dropped the bike. As a result, my 2T leaked coz the previous owner gave me
a bottle cap instead of the proper 2T cap.
The 2nd one was after a supper session with Chong, when he suddenly made
a super sharp right turn in front of Sim Lim Square and I crashed trying turn
and locking my rear wheel instead.
The 3rd one was 2 weeks after I'd done up my paint job, where that PRC knocked
me down in the carpark. Dammit...I should have taken the $450...now I can only
claim $75...
The 4th one was on the PIE, while going towards Expo...braked too hard or hit
some diesel..I dunno. Resulted in my concussion and 1st incarceration in the
hospital.
The 5th one was the time I got t-boned....and broke a bone...

I even remember the near misses, rear wheel locking at the junction at Wheelock,
almost rear ending a taxi...or Chong locking his rear wheel....
The times I scraped my side stand while cornering, checking my chicken strips...

Well, at least I won't have to endure the 2T top-ups, the white smoke...battery
problems...the loose steering cone...coz I just sold my bike today.
Went over to pick up the buyer, Elroy at Novena Square. Brought him to settle
the insurance and transfer. During the transfer, I actually forgot to take the key
from the ignition -_-'
Luckily I noticed half way and ran down to retrieve it.
Was kinda worried for him...as expected his crazy wheelie friend met with an
accident...and so I gave him a run down on the bike. Answered his questions and
headed back home. Without Natashya. Damn...if I hadn't given the damn bike a
name, I'd probably not miss it at all...

Went with Hui Jun to Hello Singtel so she could take a look at the phones. I was
eyeing the 6230 and 6270 (the one that looks like the clutch lever in a car) coz
my phone, although I still like it a lot, is starting to give me problems. For starters,
the backspace, spacebar and * buttons didn't work at one time. The phone doesn't
always ring when calls and smses come in. Drat...have to start backing up my phone
book liaoz. Brought her to HMV to see some CDs then went home and went out again
to Chinatown. Ate the famous Ah Balling...heyZ..wasn't as bad as the one I'd tasted
in Beach Road..and that's supposed to be the main stall...ah well~

What should I call my new bike?

Happy Birthday, Jesus~!

To all you folk who drop by here.
MERRY CHRISTMAS~!!

Rejoice~ For on this day, over two thousand years ago, our Lord n Saviour was brought
to this world to redeem us~!

Spent my Christmas with God's 2nd greatest gift to me. Intended to take her to the beach
to la liang...but the weather was so hot, we ended up walking around Great World City
instead. Went over to Jurong Point hoping to catch Kung Fu Hustle but the tickets were
all sold out. Had dinner at Pizza Hut before we went to my place so she could sleep...zzz

The post I blogged yesterday isn't freaking in the server....wtf's wrong with blogspot?!?
Dammit...

Well I'll try to start again...

Didn't really have the Christmassy mood yesterday. Went in the morning with Dad to
fix my insurance and top up my CPF, only to have the staff in charge tell me I had
sufficient contributions to get my ERS...woohoo~

Spent about an hour cleaning up my grimy bike before bringing it down to the viewing.
I'd totally forgotten about Glutton Square and fixed the venue there...in the end we had
to make do with the mini carpark adjacent to it. The buyer must've been someone pretty
wet behind the ears. He tested the bike by taking it around the carpark at gear 2, didn't
check the most important things like the cylinder, and handed the bike back to me. His
friend arrived on a Cagiva Planet, tested the bike around the carpark one more time, then
tested the forks and the rear shocks. He then proceeded to do the most inexplicable thing.
He mounted on his own bike, took it a round around the carpark, then popped a wheelie.
Distance was too short and so he landed, handlebar char kueh tiao and hit a parked car.
Luckily the driver was crossing the road or she'd definately would've seen that.
I kinda worry for the new rider...if he's gonna be riding around people like that...because
one's riding style is always determined by the people you're riding with...I won't be
surprised if he pops a wheelie and buangs as a result.

Went out with Sim and MZ and got a glimpse of THE Dorothy they kept telling me about.
Looked like Emily, Chong's ex-gf...

There's a SV400 selling for 3k!!! ARGH~!!! DUI ah

Sales Advertisement

I totally wasted today.
Was supposed to do lots of stuff, and I didn't do anything.

On Dad's advice, I put an ad for my Natashya up on Yahoo! Classified and
SBF's Garage Sales segment. And got 2 calls enquiring about my bike.
Thing is, I didn't bring my handphone out....ZzzZz~

Well...meeting one of them @ Centerpoint at 2pm tomorrow to let him take a
look at the bike.

I haven't done my Christmas shopping yet! I haven't zapped those books yet!
I haven't done my insurance yet! Argh~!!!

Class 2A

It's been ages since I've blogged.
Thanks to Blogspot, losing my template like that. Arse...and I can't find the bloody
backup file. What's the friggin' use in doing a backup file when you can't find the
thrice damned file? And I got to do my template all over again~ ZZZZZZZ

Passed my 2A by the skin of the teeth. Everything else went smoothly, but the
freeplay for my rear brake lever was way too much, and I couldn't get it to 'bite'
enough for me to complete my pylon slalom smoothly. I almost hit the last pylon,
swerved to avoid it, and ended up hitting the small yellow curb that was in place
to narrow the course. By all rights I should have failed for striking the curb...
The wait for the results was nerve wrecking...initially when I printed out my
test allocation slip I thought I was the 1st to go...coz the tag number printed there
was '0'...but turned out everyone had that number...and I was supposed to be the
last....number 80. And so I was the last to receive my results. I could hear the
testers discussing whether they should let me pass or not...since I hit the curb.
Haha...end up...PASS AH!!! 16 points!!!

Chong kept asking me why I didn't get 0 points...

Ate the biggest hot plate chicken chop ever @ River Valley, then at Shere's behest
I brought him rounding to Geylang, East Coast Park and then home. Ran into 3
different road blocks on the way. While at East Coast, suddenly found myself missing
her more than ever, and wishing that she was by my side.

Met her today, went with her to change her specs. Initially thought she was changing
her specs coz her degree had changed...end up the change was mostly cosmetic in nature,
with a minute change to the degree in one eye. She isn't very used to the lens and got
quite giddy. She got a pink dustbin which I managed to squeeze into the shoei helmet
bag for easy carrying. She gave me keychains (I asked for them) as a Christmas gift.
I'm gonna get her the hairstyling thingy....

Crystal gave me this sweet little heart shaped bottle with some stuff inside. So sweet
horZ. Poor Harvey went to her party to get bullied by the girls.

Can't really remember all that I wanted to blog. Ah well...

Crashed

This so sooooooooo annoying...
The fucking blogspot crashed on me...1/2 my source code is gone...fuck.
All my effort...and I freaking cannot find the bloody file where I saved my
template. And the file PJ sent me cannot be accessed coz I cannot see the
source code of ANY website somehow...

Argh...I'll just keep blogging until I find a solution.
Then you can just catch up all at one go.

Went with some Knights to LAB to check out the new stock.
Went to view the touring suit at Pandan Gardens...a little baggy but for $300
it seems to be a real steal. Went to the West-enders' BBQ...I got two die cast
bike models for the gift exchange and got some aromatherapy soap in exchange.
Dunno wat to do with it sia..

Took my KRR to JB with Gorilla n Gordon.

Argh...frustrating...

SV400S-ed

Got my Suzuki SV 400 S yesterday.

Got up early, went to the bank with my dad to withdraw the cash,
and went off to settle the deal with Randy. Had to ride the bike home
coz dad wasn't used to the riding posture...had to get used to what seemed
like delayed braking and handling, but the acceleration certainly wasn't 'delayed'.
I'll probably have to spend another sum of money doing up the bike.

Went to the SIM-UOL bash. There were so many pretty ladies over there,
and so she would definately have been at home if she had come along with me,
but the event was super off for me. 2 jugs of different liquor types didn't even
bring me close to being high, the music sequence was something like this;
1 nice song to groove to, 5-6 nigger bopping songs (yeowch~!), 1 lousy song,
1 nice song that you can only sing along to.

Took cab home...and had to U-turn to pick Eugence up again coz he'd been
locked out of his home...and so the poor fella stayed over at my place.

Went to the Asiapets show today. Saw some super cute dogs...which cost
as much as the amount some moto diams are willing to take my Kawa Kips
for. The Beethovan, Golden Retriever, and some white cute furry thingy...
kaoz....$1.8k??? But there were these 4 dogs for adoption...for a $100 donation
towards the upkeep of the puppies' mother. Also super cute lor...aiZ. Heart
very gian...coz I love dogs~...but looking at the trouble my hamsters are
providing already, I doubt a dog is a responsibility I'm ready for. I'll probably
scream when I find some poo under my bed or something.

Eugence was my 1st pillion...on the suckiest ever journey I've been on. Kaoz..
imagine all the way from the time I enter AYE till I exit ECP and park my
bike, I had to squeeze coz there was a jam. ALL THE WAY~!!!
Plus the Nikes I got were so lousy, once kana water I can start skating liaoz.
When I stopped and planted my feet on the ground, I slipped and almost
dropped my bike. Got myself a pair of Fila-Ducati Corsa riding shoes at the
price of $209....cut from $292 after the discount at the midnight sale at Suntec.
This means I can save on the boots...the shoes do make more sense coz I can
ride in them and I can walk in them, and they look trick. Boots...everyone keeps
asking me if I come from the army...and they aren't very easy on the feet when
I go gai gai~...

Gee...I've been spending a lot, and it looks like I'll be spending even more coz I
still got a lot of things to get. Safety gear, things for my dad's Phantom, things
for my new bike, a memento of my old bike which is gonna be the license plate,
her Christmas present...haiZ~

Spend and spend and spend....

Nice Plate

Today is the last day I have to wake up 'early'
to do that invigilation shit. Yaay~!! Still have the sniffles but the little yellow pills
worked their wonder as usual...although my mouth and throat felt inordinarately
parched.

Went to AP Phoon, told them I'm not taking up the Version S and got my 11B back.

The SV400S seller Randy initially gave me a headache. Offered me 4.3k without
the plate, 4.8k with the plate. Gee...$500 for the plate was super excessive, plus
I wasn't really up and hopping over the plate....so little numbers, TP confirm spot
can remember...cannot run away :(
Plus if you asked me to pick a number I'd go for 19 anyday...not 18...

Well, he fixed my dilemma by lowering it to 4.6k with the plate. That makes every
darn thing smoother. Dad reckons I could have pushed the price down further, since
I seem to be the only person offering bids to him, given the way he wants to push the
bike to me. But from 5.5k to 4.6k...I've bargained a whole $900 and added in new
road tax..haha. That's $980 I've saved. Which is quite a sum already.

But he wants me to fix the deal tomorrow....boohoo~....no sleeping thru the afternoon
for me again~...plus I'm sick :(

Haiz....kan cheong spidey

Chasing Wisps

I had a deal with that Randy guy for his SV400S at 4.8k...
Cancelled it because Siew Ling told me she had lobang to get the same bike at 3.5k.

And today, when I went down to the shop...ta dah...sorry sir we've exported the
bike. ARGH~!

Apparently the engine was in terrible condition...but again...wtf...

The sales fella tried to sell me a Super 4 Version S FP 561 for 4.8k...
Kaoz...the Version S I viewed was going for 3k onli lorz...how to fight?
I dunno why I left my 11B there....geeZ~

Cancelled a nice deal to chase a wisp of a 'lobang'...kaoz. Now I don't even know
whether that guy wants to sell his bike to me or not.

He's reduced his price to 4.5k...hopefully he replies my sms and we can pull off
a deal. GeeZ~...if not I'll have to look at Buzzbeam's friends' Akra unit... *slurp*

But it's reddd....I don't like...

Aiyah...dunno la~ Disappointed n frustrated.

Back!!!

She's back!!!
She's back she's back she's back she's back she's back...oh thank heaven~!
God~...I sound like a lovelorn puppy.

Met her today after so so long...as I spotted her walking towards me from a
distance my heart kinda constricted...and then expanded and never seemed
to stop. 1st thing I did other than smile at her was give her a really big hug.
Missed her so much.

She had so much to say, and so I let her do most of the talking. And listened.
She got me this steel plate with a picture of a vintage Ducati 900 dated 1978,
as well as this small license plate thingy with my name on it....and a stamp
that goes 'File under T for trash'...which she said I could use for those kids
who submitted atrocious assignments. Haha...but I think too zhek ark liaoz..
won't do that.

Met up with Stef and Jovin...and so the 2 good pals got to catch up....
I met up with the Invader for a short while before Romeo came along to
rescue him.

Sent her back...geeZ still haven't really gotten enough of her yet...after a month
of withdrawal symptoms.

Cleaning Up

Spent the entire Saturday afternoon
clearing up the mess in my room and the debris that's extended all the way to
my living room.

So it's a routine of: Unpack, unpack, unpack. Sort, sort, sort. Pack, pack, pack.

Then: Wipe, wipe, wipe....clean, clean, clean....vacuum.....blah blah.
My computer casing cracked again, and the sponge disintegrated when I was
trying to clean it. GeeZ...

I actually have one entire carton full of trash from my room. GeeZ...how did
I allow that to happen?

Satisfying...to walk on clean floors, lie on a clean bed, and not have to run my
finger in trails of dust when I grope around for my keys.
Surprisingly, I had enough space in my room for everything, and the only things
I had to put in Dad's room were the rollerblades and the back scratcher.

She just SMSed me telling me she's just arrived back. Feel like rushing to the
airport to see her...

3 Car Pileup

Another routine day at Expo,
except that I was damn late. Dad woke me up at 10+ to ask me to help
him get the Jecht shot. I did so, and seeing the time, thought I'd sleep for
another 2 hours before my alarm went off.

My alarm didn't go off.

And so when Siew Ling called me at 1.35pm, I thought it was the alarm and
pressed the button. I think she hung up after a few 'hellos'...coz I didn't listen
to the phone. In a way she saved me from being even later. I called back and
it turns out she wanted to know if the folk at AS Phoon were ripping me off,
and I told her I hadn't gone there yet. So sweet right? She still has a bad cough
tho...pray for her yeah?

Zipped off to work and managed to slip in unnoticed along with the candidates
an hour after I woke up. Feel so pai seh...coz it makes it seem like Uncle John's
giving me preferential treatment when he's not, warning the others not to be
late and then condoning my tardiness. GeeZ..

On my way back home from Expo, upon entering the PIE(Jurong), I
encountered a jam spanning all the way to Eunos exit. After some squeezing
I came upon the accident scene; a taxi in front, rear ended by a malaysian
Proton Wira/Saga (couldn't tell) which had in turn been rear ended by a
Mercedes Kompressor so hard, the Proton was on top of the Merc...

What comes to mind is this: Taxi brakes, Proton brakes, Merc speeding
as most big car owners are wont to do, cannot brake on time...hits Proton...
pushes Proton ahead to hit taxi.

All those buggers with big cars who think that they own the road...
hi-beaming ppl in front of them, bullying and lane cutting and speeding...
This is just an example of what such behaviour can cause.

Such behaviour should not be tolerated, and the perpetuators should be
lynched. Human lives are at stake! But sadly, the TP doesn't see fit to
address this situation. Whenever I send in a complaint after being in a
near accident situation, like when a cabbie switches lanes not in front or
behind me, but INTO my postion, or when a car hi-beams, overtakes from
the left when you don't give way, cuts ahead and brakes to give you a heart
attack, the TP often say that there is insufficient evidence. What? Do you
want to wait till these hooligans cause fatal accidents before proceeding with
investigations?

I read accounts of riders being squeezed into road shoulders, as well as
being doused with wiper fluids, all by those supposedly richer, more well-
educated folk who drive cars, and think that they have more right to the road
than anyone else, especially riders. These arseholes don't recognise the sanctity
of human life, think like animals, and the sad thing is, this mentality is widespread
among the road users of Singapore....or should I say Sillypore. Out of 80% of the
fatal accidents involving motorcycles are caused by other cars, but what does the
authorities do? Instead of nipping the problem in the bud by tackling these ruffians
on wheels, they give the statistics out in the way that influences the masses to say
that 'Oh...riding motorbikes is dangerous'....TP would rather catch a biker travelling
10-20km/h above the speed limit than a truck travelling 50km/h above their
6km/h limit.
Read http://motoring.asia1.com.sg/cgi-bin/motorbb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=001873

Don't they realise that such behaviour can actually translate into the criminal
charge of 'Voluntarily Causing (Grevious) Hurt With A Weapon'? These folk are
actually using their vehicles as weapons to bully riders into giving way to them,
to intimidate them... And if such is the case, why aren't the authorities doing
anything?

Tsk...they waste their time summoning me for my exhaust, and they don't bother
doing things that will save many lives in the future. Sad, but the reality of the
Lee Corporation we live in. Money 1st. Everything else is secondary. Even lives.

Just one more day to go before she comes back....

Budget Shoes

After another routinely boring day at Expo, I sent Ou Di
to Queensway and met XL there. Was looking for a pair of new shoes
that could stand the strain of riding a bike...that is being able to take
the gear shifting process without opening a new hole, and weather wet
conditions.

Looking around, we could only find 2 Nike shoes that were suitable. Both
were black. One at $130++....a fairly normal looking shoe with orange
Nike logos on the sides and the front. Rugged look from the top.

Then there was this $180++ one which looked slightly better, although XL
said it looked a lot better and definately was worth the extra $50. Silver logo,
with the spring thingy most Nikes have behind. Slightly more sophisticated
look, better treads. But no groove thanks to the spring thingy so I can't rest
comfortably on my footrests.

And so while I was thinking on it, (I personally preferred the more rugged
look of the 1st shoe, plus the price, but XL's opinion was the 2nd shoe looked
better), we wandered into the shop where MZ had gotten his pair of goggles.
Lo and behold. A Nike sale. And whoa~....a pair of Nikes that fitted my criteria
going at a mere $54!! They looked good, for that price, even though they were
clearly out of fashion stock. *tempted*
The Nike logo's colour looked like something you extract from your nose when
you're heaty tho...

We made another round, and then I decided, heck, if I'm gonna get simple
shoes to go out, why spend so much? I went back to the shop and asked them
for size 9. Salesman said only 9 1/2. Fine...I wear my New Balance at that size.
Search search...rummage rummage...'Sorry sir...no size also'. Bo pianz...choose
another colour. Size 9. Yaay...here you go. A little too fitting, but I guess I have
yet to get used to the shoes.

Brought XL to ABC market to try the avocado juice. Ended up eating sting ray.
Wa...today eat a lot ah!!

Sent Dad to work today.

Adel Pangs

When you're hungry, you get hunger pangs.
I miss her. A lot. Akin to a starving beggar, clawing the dirt as he quests
to traverse another metre of the valley road on his belly, his legs devoid of
all energy for the want of food. A parched traveller, stumbling in the myriad
dunes amidst the desert sand, chasing the elusive mirage.
I fear succour will come too late for me.

Can picture her in my arms, her lips against mine...GOD~!!!
CAN I LAST TILL SUNDAY!?!??!?!

Alexander The Great

Watched Alexander today.
Was expecting an epic...and was sorely disappointed.
Complex imagery, rushed storylines that are hardly explained by
Mr Hopkins...overkill in the gay department in the story...kaoZ
Total waste of time man. Made the 'Great' look like a total loser.

Was late for work today. Overslept. But I smoke them say that
I lao sai...haha

Actually I did lao sai yesterday...the feeling came as I left Expo...
and so just imagine. Wanna lao sai...plus cold, plus wet, plus vibrations
from the bike. Waaaa~ cannot tahan. Even when I saw Rose on the road
I didn't slow down to wave to her. Coz the stuff coming out liaoz...haha

Went in to JB after that with Weiz85...pump full tank n stuff..

Phantom Knights

First outing with the Phantom Knights today.
Met Malbaro79 and H@rt at Jurong Point and led them to Carmen Cafe.
On the way, they couldn't keep up with me coz I squeezed thru traffic
too quickly.

Turned out we were damn early. Met Alexander04 there; he was the earliest.
In the end, 20+ Knights turned up. We went to Kranji wetlands reserve and
Seletar Dam before splitting off when the rain started. Everyone turned here
and there and I was so blur I ended up going home.
But still, nothing beats the feeling of riding with such a large group of
bikers.

My Kips is irritating the hell out of me. Luckily I didn't commit to the 4.8k
coz Siew Ling found a SV400S that cost 3.5k only.

Church Camp

Been like 4 days since I last posted...
Just got back from Church camp. It was pretty much of a blast...

I was in 'Patience'...with Nicholas Lee, LeAnne, June, Wei Hao, Sean,
Jonas. 1st day was Scavenger Hunt...got the lowest marks coz we weren't
there when the judges came to see what we'd got...and we were wearing the
shoes which had the laces required...they couldn't find the white hair...etc

2nd day was the telematch. Got 'betrayed' by Benjamin's group 'Peace'
We initially agreed not to pelt them with waterbombs...but when it came to
our turn they kept bombing us. We lost at the 2nd station as well; we were
the faster group but lost more water, which was what really counted.
Lost at the 3rd station as well coz we were only told last minute that we
could break up the words to form the last few words @ scrabble...
But managed to beat Kate's group at mini-soccer @ mini captain's ball...
Scored this no-look shot...against little Shirlyn. Haha...
Got totally soaked trying to defend my target in the final water wars...
We totally rocked at Who Died. No wonder everyone wanted it to come
back. It was so much fun...but requires a lot of preparation.

Last day @ camp was spent at the 'Amazing Race'...where we ran like
crazy. Ran to the Society for the Physically Disabled, ran/walked to SGH,
where Jonas brought us one big round. Lost Wei Hao on the way when he
didn't want to tag along. Took train to Habour Front. Took train to City Hall.
Ran/walked to Esplanade where Pearlyn joined us. Ran/walked to Suntec.
Ran/walked to One Fullerton. Ran/walked to Lau Pa Sat. Ran/ walked to
Raffles Place. Till now...my legs are super tired.

Overall pretty enjoyable although I had to leave on various occasions. Got
to know more people.

Went to view the SV400S today. Nice v-twin bike. Managed to press the bike
down to 4.8k...dunno if I should commit..
