10 Things Tag

I've been 'tagged' by the pair of jeans. Since then, she's been bugging, needling, coercing, bribing, nagging and doing whatever she can to get me to reply to her sabo tag, play her game, and basically, break my blogging silence. I wearily oblige.

Here's how the game goes:
Rule of the game: each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own 10 weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you must choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks!

Little Known Facts (LKF) List. Here goes..

LKF #1. I might be known first and foremost as a biker, but back in the good old days where I was younger, I used to foreswear the use of bikes as transport. Mum's castigating propaganda regarding our quickest and most economical form of transport had me bleating along with the vast majority for 19 years, before I finally began to see the light. Back then, it was the cliche plan of 'take bus and mrt until work, save enough money get car'.

LKF #2. My favourite number is 19. Pretty obvious when you consider that I was born on the 19th, woke up my idea about bikes on the 19th, was in squad 19 during my BMT etc etc. Heck, even the numbers for my first bike, 1576, add up to 19. Yes, yes...I like that number for reasons purely coincidental. Get over it.

LKF #3. I own an Egyptian Shisha. For those of you who don't know what this contraption is, it's a water pipe made for smoking flavoured tobacco. Back in the day where I was gearing up to quit smoking, this thing seemed like a good alternative; it had neligible amounts of tobacco, no nicotine and all that other shit, and it smelt good. The only hassle was getting the bloody charcoal burning.

LKF #4. I am an avid $1 coin collector. I do collect notes as well, but any $1 coin that falls into my hands are squirrelled away and stored away in a huge container. I've already got one full, and the 2nd is 1/4 full already.

LKF #5. I've been drinking tap water ever since I was in Secondary School. Put it down to laziness, because that's precisely the reason I can't be bothered to boil water and slosh it straight from the tap instead.

LKF #6. I keep a pair of hamsters. Originally, I had a brood of 17-22 of the little critters kept away in 7 different cages, taking up almost half my kitchen floor. Now, there're two left, a birthday gift from Adeline.

LKF #7. I have a high input-output rate. Meaning to say, I shit almost immediately after eating a meal. Well, maybe that's just coincidence, coz it only happens to one meal per day.

LKF #8. I used to be a heart repair man. Folks with problems would contact me, and I'd take them for a ride to wherever, listen to them pour their hearts out, give soundbites, and basically make them feel that little bit better. Nowadays, I only make myself available to repair one heart, exclusively. Dar, don't you think you're lucky? :P

LKF #9. Take my sweets away from me and you're going to make me suffer. Super strong mints like Hacks and Ricola were my substitutes for cigarettes, and nowadays I rely on them more than water to keep my larnyx cool and well lubricated.

LKF #10. When I was little, the benefit of a malay babysitter allowed me to speak that language with slang as well as the next malay kid. It's a skill I've lost out of misuse, and the only lingo I retain consists of foul words, 1 to 5, stop, danger, eat and drink. Oh yes, and toilet. Heh.

LKF #11. Somehow, I can't get to sleep easily if my feet aren't covered by my blanky.

LKF #12. I wash my bike at least once a week, but my room's a sty. No surprise there, eh?

LKF #13. I'm not gonna sabo anyone out of my house, so I'm gonna tag my 3 Esso baby tigers, my stuffed bear, dog and pig. They can reply to this if they want to. Yep, stuffed toys on my bed...at my age. That's ripe.

LKF #14. I love my girlfriend. Very much. But you all knew that, didn't you? :)

Anyone I didn't tag and wants to use this to fill in their blogs can do so too...heh.

Riding hard, fast, safely AND taking a few corners.
